HPAI (Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza), which is severely impacting flocks of poultry and waterfowl throughout the country, is also heavily affecting the wild raptor population. It is vitally important to ensure that we have the appropriate facilities and biosecurity protocols in place to provide the safest environment for our patients and volunteers.
We are planning to construct a small isolation building, to safely intake and treat new raptor patients during their quarantine period. The cost of this facility is projected to be $25,000.
Please help us reach this goal with your financial or material donations. Together we can keep wild birds wild.
