There are many fascinating things to learn about owls. We can get a glimpse, for example, into what these nocturnal creatures have eaten by examining the pellets they’ve left behind.

These Owl Pellet Discovery Kits are great for any curious child (or child at heart). Recommended for ages 8 and up. Parental guidance suggested depending on your child’s unique abilities.

Kit includes:

• 1 Heat-sterilized owl pellet
• Bamboo toothpicks
• Plastic tweezers
• Magnifying lens
• Disposable gloves (typically vinyl; if nitrile is needed, please specify)
• Compostable clamshell container
• Bone identification chart
